Hamilton offers access, via State Route 4 and Bypass State Route 4, to a variety of interstate highways, including I-75, I-71, I-275, and I-74. More importantly, 25 of the top U.S. metros and 41 percent of the nation’s purchasing power are within a day’s drive from the region and 52 percent of the nation’s manufacturing establishments are within 600 miles.
The Veterans Highway (State Route 129) is a limited access 4-lane highway that has been constructed to freeway standards between Hamilton and I-75. By-Pass 4 is a four and six lane limited access highway. It provides a more direct route to I-275 from Hamilton. As a result of the quantity and quality of access to transportation routes, over 200 motor freight carriers provide services to the Hamilton area.
Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, located 35 miles south of Hamilton, is the , offering 180 daily flights, including nonstop flights to 53 cities around the world. In addition to being the home of DHL’s main North American hub, seven carriers, including Delta and United, currently serve passengers at CVG.
Dayton International Airport, located 45 miles northeast of Hamilton, is serviced by several airlines including: Air Canada, American, Continental, Delta, Frontier Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and United Airlines. This airport offers over 85 daily flights, including nonstop flights to 23 cities.
Butler County Regional Airport, located in Hamilton, provides air taxi service to and from the Dayton and Cincinnati airports, and has been designed to accommodate even the most demanding corporate flight departments. The all-weather 5,500 foot, 100 foot wide paved runway, is equipped with ILS, GPS, and Localizer DME approaches. Executive and corporate hangars are available for long-term or overnight storage.
